AWM Amaroo was created to provide employment opportunities for young Indigenous Australians through collaboration with Australian commercial furniture and joinery manufacturer AWM. I created the original AWM brand so it was lovely to extend this into AWM Amaroo. The final ‘o’ is the indigenous symbol for ‘seed’ as seen in the beautiful indigenous artwork AWM commissioned for the brand. This mark becomes a vessel, creating a dynamic brand mark that offers great flexibility across print and web platforms.
